FAIRY MAGIC — I met A girl, and decided to become Dragon

Never before had I been made to swallow my own skeptical words like this. An unassuming match turned into a night of wonders at Star Point.

A pretty flower shedding its petals to reveal a tiger’s fierce determination. Beautiful brunette locks with streaks of gold hiding a sharp mind tempered by secular wisdom.

Pure turquoise jewels piercing through my layers and exposing my shortcomings. A gentle voice carrying warm healing words.

A Love for Life breathing joy into all that would cross her path. A Soul that knows no bounds embracing freedom like no other.

A Dancer’s elegance coloring her sure-footed steps. A sturdy yet slender body forged over the years, through the steady fire of pain, guidance and discipline.

Approaching life’s challenges with her infinite energy through playful seriousness. Balancing work and fun in such a light way, she might as well be gliding through life.

Like an arrow she passed right by me. And all I could do was stare in awe as this human being managed to outshine most, while still retaining her humility.

Watching her be Magic, I found myself wanting to shine just as bright. I found myself wishing to be the Dragon to her Tigress.

I had asked for her and the Universe delivered down to the letter. I got all I wrote, more than I asked and less that I ended up dreaming.

My mind keeps replaying An Almost Made up Poem’s “… choose her! She’s mad but she’s Magic!…”

She didn’t need to leave me something to remember her by. Not when the marks she imprinted on my Soul are so vivid.

I could only stare in astonishment as she passed by. An arrow too fast for me to follow. I’m left wondering about my self-worth. I’m left trying to make sense of all you shone light on. I’m left in a daze, doing my best to process the blessings the Universe had a human fairy deliver to me in such a short span of time.

Pain never mixed so well with gratitude. Happiness never co-existed so harmoniously with saudades. Moments never transcended time like this.

This was supposed to be a poem, but ended up just being a representation of my state of mind.

You? You’ll for sure keep moving through life buldozing obstacles through sheer force of will. After all, tiger fairies leave only a trail of stars after appearing briefly to a few blessed ones. Fairies are magic, and magic only reveals itself to those ready to witness it, even though it’s ever accessible.

We? We might unlikely meet again after I’m done watching one of your performances. After I’ve witnessed you share with the world wonders from the depths of your gorgeous Soul. After you’ve mesmerized people with your breath-taking movements.

Me? I’ll keep on living my life one step at a time. I’ll review my everything, inside out. I’ll re-establish the foundations at the very core of me. I’ll seek my path of growth in the reflection that I saw through your stary eyes.

Me, I’ll take this chance to once again experience rebirth.

Me, I’ll take the Dragon path.

Comforted by the certainty that we’ll both be doing our best to bring our lightest and brightest versions out into the world.

Assured by our promise to change the world through our unique Light.
